How to plant the seeds:

Echinacea seeds can be sown directly into prepared soil or started in seedling trays.

    • Sow seeds shallowly and lightly cover with soil.
    • Keep soil moist but not waterlogged during germination.
    • Germination may be improved by a cold period (placing seeds in the fridge for 2–4 weeks before planting can help).
    • Transplant seedlings carefully once established, as young roots are delicate.
    • Plant in well-draining soil enriched with compost.

Kindly note:

All seeds are tested and grown on our property in South Africa. Climate, irrigation patterns, soil conditions, and a host of other variables all affect growth rates and germination times. These factors can have an impact on harvest and growth.

We can therefore not be held accountable for seeds that do not germinate because we have no control over the buyer’s cultivation methods or the environment in which the seeds are planted.
