Directions

Apply ointment to the affected areas 2-3 times daily or as needed.

Precautions

• Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) contains small amounts of toxic compounds called pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs), specifically symphytine and echimidine.
• DO NOT use Comfrey on open wounds or broken skin.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use Comfrey products.
• Infants or anyone with liver problems should not use/take Comfrey.
• Use Comfrey only topically (externally) in small amounts.
